Grow Your Garden: Maximizing Planting Potential (Georgina Cole Library)

Farm manager Greg Reese presents Maximizing Planting Potential. Greg will discuss creative solutions for growing your own food in the space you have available. He will also touch on regenerative agriculture. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a beginner, this event will provide you with the tools and information you need to get growing!

Presenter Bio: Greg Reese is a farmer from Southern California who focuses on growing organic food using methods that restore and improve the land. He has over ten years of experience in rainwater harvesting, caring for native plants and orchards, and no-till market gardening. Greg uses his knowledge to create local food systems and teach others about regenerative farming. His goal is to inspire people to live closer to the land while building healthy soils, growing nutritious food, and supporting strong communities. In addition to his gardening experience, Greg serves as the farm manager at Fox Point Farms in Encinitas.

Carlsbad City Library’s Grow Your Garden program lets you swap succulents, seeds, fruit, vegetables and herbs from your garden with your neighbors and learn new gardening techniques.
