Presenter Bio: A native plants enthusiast, Joan is a member of the California Native Plants Society and manages the Buena Vista Audubon Society. She founded the Oceanside native plants tour which is entering its 21st year! An Oceanside native, Joan is a retired mechanical engineer from HP where she worked for 20 years and has raised three boys alongside her husband.
