DESCRIPTION:<p>Join the City of Carlsbad for a hands-on Fixit Clinic with a "Dog Days of Summer" theme. Bring your broken or well-loved household items and work alongside volunteer coaches to troubleshoot and repair them, helping keep useful items out of the landfill.</p><p>This summer-themed clinic will focus on practical repair skills for favorite summer gear, including surfboards, wetsuits, skateboards and roller skates. You can also bring electronics, appliances, computers, toys, bicycles, clothing and other items for assessment, disassembly and possible repair.</p><p>City staff and volunteers will provide workspace, specialty tools and guidance to help you take items apart and troubleshoot.
