DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Presented by Mia Bennett</strong></p><p>Speaker will present virtually / Presentation will be recorded</p><p>There is an increasing number of third party tools to help us analyze our DNA matches.&nbsp; This talk identifies some of the key tools and which ones work best depending on your research question.&nbsp; To get you started, practical examples of how to use a couple of the tools are presented including What Are The Odds? (WATO) and BanyanDNA.</p><p>The DNA Interest Group is a partnership program between Carlsbad City Library and the&nbsp;<a href="https://library.carlsbadca.gov/?splash=http%3a%2f%2fnsdcgs.org&amp;____isexternal=true" target="_blank">North San Diego County Genealogical Society</a>. This program is designed to educate and inform people about the use of DNA testing for genealogical purposes through lectures on DNA.
