Carlsbad Library hosts New York Times bestselling authors for discussion and signing

The Carlsbad Library is excited to present two upcoming author talks at the Dove Library, Schulman Auditorium.  

  • On Tuesday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m., authors Cara Black and Kate White will discuss their books and the art of writing suspense. A book signing will follow the event.  

  • On Friday, June 9 at 2:30 p.m., author Lisa See will be at the Dove Library to discuss her new book “Lady Tan’s Circle of Women.”  

About Cara Black: 
Cara Black is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of 20 books in the Private Investigator Aimée Leduc series, and two World War II-set novels featuring American markswoman Kate Rees. Cara has received multiple nominations for the Anthony and Macavity Awards and a Washington Post Book World Book of the Year citation. 

About Kate White: 
Kate White is the New York Times bestselling author of seventeen novels of suspense: nine standalone psychological thrillers, including “The Secrets You Keep,” “The Second Husband” and “Between Two Strangers” (May ‘23) and eight Bailey Weggins mysteries.
