Carlsbad Cultural Arts, in partnership with Alliance Française of San Diego, proudly presents Night of Ideas, featuring a screening of "Defenders of Life." This compelling drama, set in the hills of Costa Rica, explores the resilience of an Indigenous community striving to preserve its cultural heritage and way of life amid external pressures.

This free, ticketed event celebrates international cinema and fosters cross-cultural dialogue through film and discussion. Registration is available through the Alliance Française website.
