College Prep Advice Series

Get ready for college with our Monday series this October! Join us on October 7, 21 and 28, 5:30 - 7 p.m.
for an event series focused on college readiness, in partnership with Palomar College and MiraCosta College. We'll cover essential topics like financial aid, higher education options, navigating the college admission process and tips for creating a standout application. Pizza will be provided. 

Teen Art Contest 
All library locations 

Reimagine your favorite book or banned book cover with an original drawing, painting or digital design, no larger than 8.5" x 11". Art will be displayed at all three library locations throughout October. All teen participants will receive a prize and free book. The winner at each location will earn a super awesome prize, announced in early November.

Take a trip back in time and explore snapshots of teen life in Carlsbad over the past 140 years with “Carlsbad Teens Through the Years” presented by Genealogy & Carlsbad History at the Georgina Cole Library. This fun display features treasured historical images and materials from the Carlsbad History Collection archives. Perhaps you’ll see a familiar face or two!
