A passion for reading starts here! Join the new Carlsbad City Library reading challenges perfect for middle schoolers and high schoolers: 50 Books Before Middle School Promotion and 100 Books Before High School Graduation. Registering for this program earns all participants a free book and a pin board to mark their progress. As a reader progresses through the program, they can earn book-related pins. After completing the program, the reader will earn a lei to wear to a promotion or graduation ceremony.
