Attend this free coding and robotics orientation and learn about MakeCode, a user-friendly programming platform developed by Microsoft that allows beginners to create and experiment with code. You will learn about MakeCode Arcade, a platform to develop retro video games on and learn how to upload code to the Micro: bit, a tiny programmable computer. Staff will give an overview and allow time for discussion, questions and hands on practice time. 

Join us in the Exploration HUB located on the 2nd floor of the Carlsbad City Library on Dove Lane. This orientation is for patrons ages 13 and older.
